All the submitted abstracts have been accepted for the poster session. Those abstracts which have been selected for an oral presentation (session 1-5 or the young scientist session) are indicated in the program web page .
This biennial two-day workshop is primarily addressed to scientists interested in the field of bioactive lipid mediators. Scientists from across and outside Europe have been invited to share their expertise in a number of research topics that include the state-of-the-art knowledge of the biochemistry, molecular biology and physiology of lipids as signalling molecules, their involvement in inflammation, and their specific roles in several disease conditions. The workshop has two main goals: 1) to bring together researchers to discuss the latest results and developments in this area;
and 2) to promote interaction and exchange of ideas among the different laboratories. For this Fourth Workshop, a special emphasis will be placed on exploring:
i) the relevance of omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids
ii) the role of lipid mediators in the resolution of inflammation
iii) the advances in lipidomic analysis
iv) innate immunity and bioactive lipids
v) the prostanoid receptor pharmacology.
We especially welcome graduate and postdoctoral students to attend this workshop, and a special session will be devoted to them.
Previous editions of this workshop were held at Barcelona in 2006, Valladolid in 2008 and Paris 2010 |
