A travel award of 350 Euros is available for 3 young scientists. This award is open to research students still in a Ph.D. program, doing post-doctoral research, or individuals who have completed their studies in the past 5 years. Medical, veterinary and dentistry students are also eligible as well as those in residence. The candidate must be less than 35 years of age and should have published at least one first author paper in a peer-reviewed international journal.  In order to be eligible for this Symposium the following criteria must be met. The applicants must submit:

- Abstract via the registration form (before July 15th, 2016)

 - CV by email (jbalsinde@ibgm.uva.es)

- List of publications by email (jbalsinde@ibgm.uva.es)

These 2 last items are to be received before July 15th, 2016.

Ten (10) of the abstracts will be chosen for a 10 minute oral presentation followed by a 2 minute question/answer period. The presentations must be in English and the time allotted respected. From these 10 presentations, a committee will choose 3 of the presentations for the award.

Note: When submitting your Abstract please indicate (check the box) that you wish to participate in the Young Scientist’s Symposium.

Any delay and failure to submit all items will automatically eliminate eligibility of the candidate.

Ambiotis Travel Award

A travel award of 270 Euros is available for 3 young scientists working in the field of inflammation resolution. This award is sponsored by AMBIOTIS, a leading company in bioactive lipid profiling. Ambiotis would like to promote the research and understanding of resolution pathways.
The award is thus open to research students still in a Ph.D. program or doing post-doctoral research.

In order to be eligible for this travel grant, the applicants must submit the abstract via the registration form (before July 15th, 2016) AND tick the box "a Poster for Competition (3 Ambiotis travel awards on Resolution for students or post-doc <35 years old)"

Posters will be examined during poster sessions and awards will be given at the Conference Dinner that will take place on September 29th.
